Congratulations to 8th grader Mia Ehrlich who has been chosen as the Lime Kiln nominee to compete for the 2016 Carson $1000 Scholarship. Mia has a 4.0 GPA and excellent citizenship at LKMS. Additionally, she has been active in the community giving service in a number of ways. She has initiated a program called Mia’s Helping Hands where she is starting her own not-for-profit business, the proceeds from which will go to Champions Against Cancer. Mia has designed close to 20 different cards that she’ll have printed and sold in boutiques around the area.. Good luck in the upcoming competition for the scholarship, Mia!
