Dear LKMS Parents, Guardians and Community Members,
October has arrived and we are finally feeling like we have settled into a "normal" school routine! Thank you for all you are doing at home to help your student make the transition from virtual/hybrid learning to in-person instruction. We recognize that we still have some small mountains to climb, however I am sure that our community will support each other now and throughout the school year.
This week, our students participated in the MCAP assessments for ELA and Math. All students did an outstanding job during the test, taking it seriously, showing perseverence, and all around great attitudes! There will be several more state and county assessments this year, and we know our students will always do their very best.
Picture Day has been rescheduled from today to November 5, 2021. We are sorry for the inconvenience. LifeTouch assures us that pictures will be available in time for holiday gift giving in December.
More information about the upcoming Flu Clinic at LKMS, the G/T Parent Academy, and the PTA "Gotta Eat Nights" can be found on our website.
Have a fabulous fall weekend!
Ms. Lublin and Mrs. Ketterman
