8th Grade Promotion Ceremony - June 13, 3:00-4:30pm - Reservoir High School (Gym)

8th Grade Evening Dance - June 13, 7:00-9:00pm - Lime Kiln Middle School (Cafeteria)

The 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony is a very special occasion for LKMS, featuring student speeches, a remembrance iMovie, and the recognizing of each student.   Students will walk to Reservoir High School to prepare for the 3:00pm ceremony.   On Wednesday, June 6, students received their permission forms and two tickets (due to limited seating) for the ceremony.   Permission forms must be returned to your student's homeroom teacher by Monday, June 11.  The attire for this event is "dress casual" and school appropriate.  Formal attire is not required for this event.  Parents/Guardians will transport their students home at the completion of the ceremony.

The 8th grade dance will be held from 7:00-9:00pm in the LKMS' cafeteria -- Break out the dancing shoes!!  There will be a DJ, various activities and plenty of food.  This is a school event and appropriate behavior is expected of our students in accordance with the HCPSS Code of Conduct.   Students must be picked up by their parents/guardians by 9:00pm.   Permission forms for this event were issued to students on June 6, and must be returned to your student's homeroom teacher by Monday, June 11.
