This past Tuesday, Dr. Martirano made a surprise visit to LKMS to announce that our own 7th grade math teacher and team leader, Mrs. Elizabeth Waltman, was named Howard County Teacher of the Year!  We are so proud of Mrs. Waltman and excited to share this journey with her as she now goes on to compete for Washington Post Teacher of the Year and Maryland State Teacher of the Year.
